On the Perfection oi Laser Rubies
Kristall und Technik, 1969AbstractRuby single crystals grown by the VERNEUIL method for application as laser crystals have a rather coarse substructure which is marked by the appearance of subgrains with mutual disorientations up to 1°. The subgrain boundaries were examined by means of X‐ray topographs obtained by the BERG‐BARRETT method.
