2D Ruddlesden–Popper Polycrystalline PerovskitePyro‐Phototronic Photodetectors

Small, 2023
AbstractTwo‐dimensional (2D) Ruddlesden–Popper (RP) layered halide perovskite has attracted wide attentions due to its unique structure and excellent optoelectronic properties. With inserting organic cations, inorganic octahedrons are forced to extend in a certain direction, resulting in an asymmetric 2D perovskite crystal structure and causing ...

Tunability of TCF in Ruddlesden-Popper compounds

ISAF 2000. Proceedings of the 2000 12th IEEE International Symposium on Applications of Ferroelectrics (IEEE Cat. No.00CH37076), 2002
Ruddlesden-Popper phases (general formula, A/sub n+1/Ti/sub n/O/sub 3n+1/) are composed of perovskite blocks separated and sheared by rock-salt structured layers along 1/2 [111]. Members of the Ruddlesden-Popper family, based on Ca and Sr, have been fabricated for compositions where n=1-4 and /spl infin/ (pure perovskite).

2D Ruddlesden–Popper Perovskites Microring Laser Array

Advanced Materials, 2018
Abstract3D organic–inorganic hybrid perovskites have featured high gain coefficients through the electron–hole plasma stimulated emission mechanism, while their 2D counterparts of Ruddlesden–Popper perovskites (RPPs) exhibit strongly bound electron–hole pairs (excitons) at room temperature.

Ultrathin Ruddlesden–Popper Perovskite Heterojunction for Sensitive Photodetection

Small, 2019
AbstractThanks to their unique optical and electric properties, 2D materials have attracted a lot of interest for optoelectronic applications. Here, the emerging 2D materials, organic–inorganic hybrid perovskites with van der Waals interlayer interaction (Ruddlesden–Popper perovskites), are synthesized and characterized. Photodetectors based on the few‐

Thermodynamic investigation of the Ruddlesden-Popper phase Sr3Fe2O7

The Journal of Chemical Thermodynamics, 2020
Abstract The heat capacity of layered perovskite-like oxide Sr3Fe2O7 was measured for the first time by precision adiabatic vacuum calorimetry over the temperature range of (6–305) K and by differential scanning calorimetry in the range from 300 K to 420 K. The standard thermodynamic functions of the compound were evaluated from the experimental heat

Phase Engineering in Quasi-2D Ruddlesden–Popper Perovskites

The Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters, 2018
Quasi-2D Ruddlesden-Popper (RP) halide perovskites have drawn intensive research interest because they possess superior ambient stability while retaining excellent device performance as compared to their pure 2D or 3D counterparts. By phase engineering strategy, quasi-2D perovskites can fall into three types-large- n 2D perovskite, 2D:3D mixed ...

Stability of Ruddlesden–Popper-structured oxides in humid conditions

Journal of Solid State Chemistry, 2013
Some of layered transition-metal oxides are known to react with atmospheric humidity to form through topotactic intercalation reactions new water-containing layered structures. Here we investigate the influence of oxygen content (7−δ) of the Ruddlesden–Popper-structured Sr{sub 3}FeMO{sub 7−δ} (M=Ni, Mn, Ti) oxides on the water-intercalation reaction ...

Magnetic Correlations in Ruddlesden-Popper Ruthenates [PDF]

open access: possible, 2022
Unconventional Superconductivity is one of the most intriguing phenomena in condensed matter physics and is often the motivation of extensive research of certain material families. Such a material family is represented by the Ruddlesden-Popper ruthenates whose superconducting member Sr2RuO4 pushed the discovery of other interesting physical phenomena ...

Systematic Thermodynamics of Layered Perovskites: Ruddlesden–Popper Phases

Inorganic Chemistry, 2017
Perovskite, CaTiO3, is the prototype of an extensive group of materials. They are capable of considerable chemical modification, with the further capability of undergoing structural modification by the intercalation of thin sheets of intrusive materials (both inorganic and organic) between the cubic perovskite layers, to form a range of "layered ...

Perovskite-like crystals of the Ruddlesden-Popper series

Crystallography Reports, 2000
The layer perovskite-like structures of the so-called Ruddlesden-Popper phases have been analyzed in terms of crystal chemistry. The geometrical boundaries of the existence ranges of these compounds with multilayer stacks are determined and new phases of this type are predicted. The possible variants of related structures are also considered.
