Co‐Electrospinning Extracellular Matrix with Polycaprolactone Enables a Modular Approach to Balance Bioactivity and Mechanics of a Multifunctional Bone Wrap

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
The incorporation of nondigested ECM and synthetic polymers into a co‐electrospinning system enables the decoupling of bioactivity and mechanical properties within a single wrap. This technique is used to develop a multifunctional bone wrap that achieves augmented membrane durability, sustained infection control, and enhanced vascularity for use in ...

Pregnancy in a Ruptured Non-communicating Rudimentary Horn: A Case Report

open access: yesPakistan Journal of Medicine and Dentistry
The rudimentary horn is a Müllerian duct anomaly. In instances of pregnancy within a non-communicating rudimentary horn, timely diagnosis is imperative to prevent life-threatening complications. Ultrasound only demonstrates 26-33% sensitivity, leading to

Rapid Fabrication of Self‐Propelled and Steerable Magnetic Microcatheters for Precision Medicine

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A rapid Joule heating fabrication method for the production of self‐propelling, adaptive microcatheters, with tunable stiffness and integrated microfluidic channels is presented. Demonstrated through three microrobotic designs, including a steerable guiding catheter, an untethered wave‐crawling TubeBot, and a distal‐end propelled microcatheter, it was ...

Pregnancy in rudimentary horn of uterus

open access: yesIndian Journal of Medical Sciences, 2013
A 20-year-old primigravida with 3 months amenorrhea presented with complaints of acute abdominal pain. Her vital systemic parameters were stable. On vaginal examination, the patient was provisionally diagnosed of right cornual ectopic pregnancy, which was confirmed sonographically, and taken up for surgery. There was moderate hemoperitoneum and rupture

Two‐Photon 3D Printing of Functional Microstructures Inside Living Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates 3D printing inside living cells by using two‐photon photo‐lithography. A bio‐compatible photoresist is injected into cells and selectively polymerized with a femtosecond laser, creating custom‐shaped intracellular structures with submicron resolution.

Rudimentary horn pregnancy — ten years of experience

open access: yesGinekologia Polska, 2020
This study aimed to evaluate data on early diagnosis and therapeutic management of rudimentary horn pregnancy (RHP).Patients diagnosed with RHP at a tertiary center between for two periods of 2008-2012 and 2013-2018 were analysed retrospectively. We obtained information of patients from hospital electronic archive registration system.

MXene‐Coated 3D Printed Horn Antennas for Ku Frequency Band

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
An additive manufacturing approach to 3D printing horn antennas and coating them with Ti3C2Tx MXene is proposed. Rapid fabrication of lightweight, high‐performance antennas operating in the Ku‐band (12.4–18 GHz) has been demonstrated. The MXene‐coated antennas exhibit comparable electromagnetic performance to conventional, costly aluminum ones, with ...
