Ruptured rudimentary horn pregnancy masquerading as cesarean scar rupture in third trimester

open access: yesMedical Journal of Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, 2018
Pregnancy in the rudimentary horn of a unicornuate uterus is extremely rare and usual fate is rupture in the second trimester. We have reported this case due to rarity of rupture of rudimentary horn in the third trimester initially misdiagnosed as ...

Laparoscopic resection of unruptured rudimentary horn pregnancy

open access: yesJournal of Gynecological Endoscopy and Surgery, 2011
A non-communicating rudimentary horn is an uncommon site for ectopic pregnancy. Rudimentary horn pregnancy (RHP) is a rare entity but associated with grave clinical consequences. Majority of these cases if not detected timely end up in uterine rupture and present as an obstetrical emergency.

Non‐Uniform Space‐Time‐Coding Modulation for Low‐Complexity Diagnostics of Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
A diagnostic method for reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS) based on non‐uniform space‐time‐coding modulation is presented. Fault localization is achieved via amplitude‐only spectral measurements, eliminating the need for complex signal processing. A one‐to‐one mapping between harmonic components and RIS elements enables accurate detection.

Diagnosis and laparoscopic management of a 5-week ectopic pregnancy in a rudimentary uterine horn: A case report

open access: yesCase Reports in Women's Health, 2019
Uterine anomalies result from the failure of complete fusion of the Müllerian ducts during embryogenesis. A unicornuate uterus with a rudimentary horn is the rarest anomaly and results from the failure of one of the Müllerian ducts to develop completely ...

A General and Efficient Framework for the Rapid Design of Miniaturized, Wideband, and High‐Bit RIS

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
A general and efficient framework is proposed for the rapid design of high‐performance reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RISs). This framework integrates advanced antenna design techniques and incorporates various load types, quantities, and values to achieve the design of high‐performance RISs.

Variations in clinical presentation of unicornuate uterus with non-communicating rudimentary horn (class IIB of the American Fertility Society classification)

open access: yesTaiwanese Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology, 2018
Objective: The unicornuate uterus is a rare uterine malformation (2.4–13.7% of all uterine malformations (Engmann et al., 2004)) which usually features a rudimentary accessory horn in more than 75% of the cases. Pregnancy in the rudimentary horn is rare,

Delayed Severe Dysmenorrhea After Tubal Ligation in a Patient With Rudimentary Horn: A Case Report

open access: yesTaiwanese Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology, 2005
Objective: Unicornuate uterus with a non-communicating rudimentary horn is a Mullerian duct anomaly that is unusual among all congenital uterine anomalies. The lesion presents most frequently during childhood and adolescence in an obstructive episode. It

Non-communicating Rudimentary Horn with Haematometra Manifesting as Adnexal Mass: A Case Report

open access: yesJournal of Clinical and Diagnostic Research
Female reproductive organs other than ovaries are formed from the mullerian ducts which develop into fallopian ducts, uterus, and the upper two third of vagina.

Metasurfaces and Metadevices for Topological Electromagnetic Waves

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, EarlyView.
Optical topologies refer to diverse topological localized structures made by diverse parameters of light fields, such as vortices, skyrmions, and hopfions. This article navigates a direction of metasurface‐based integrated devices for generation, manipulation and detection of novel topologies of light, which would be a rapidly growing interdisciplinary

Description of the skull, braincase, and dentition of Moschognathus whaitsi (Dinocephalia, Tapinocephalia), and its palaeobiological and behavioral implications

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
Abstract A subadult Moschognathus whaitsi from the Eastern Cape Province, South Africa, was scanned using synchrotron radiation X‐ray computed tomography (SRXCT). Its subadult state allowed the cranial bones and teeth to be identified and individually reconstructed in 3D.
