This work demonstrates a receiver‐transmitter‐integrated metasurface that decomposes an incident wave into orthogonal components and routes them into separate channels. Inspired by a “Wheel‐of‐Fortune” mechanism, it enables independent control over the amplitude, phase, and polarization of the transmitted wave.

Strangeness and the discovery of quark-gluon plasma
Strangeness flavor yield s and the entropy yield S are the observables of the deconfined quark-gluon state of matter which can be studied in the entire available experimental energy range at AGS, SPS, RHIC, and, in near future, at the LHC energy range ...

The Landscape and Regulation of Histone Crotonylation in Mammalian Gametes and Early Embryos
Histone crotonylation undergoes a genome‐wide transition from broad domains to canonical narrow peaks during minor zygotic genome activation (ZGA). This remodeling is required for proper major ZGA and blastocyst formation. Disruption of this transition by transcriptional inhibition, metabolic perturbation, or HDAC1 dysfunction impairs embryonic ...

A 22-Week Ruptured Rudimentary Uterine Horn Pregnancy
Rudimentary horn pregnancy is a rare but serious obstetric event. We presented a case of rudimentary horn pregnancy ruptured at 22 weeks. Rudimentary horn excision was performed during exploration.

A new approach to model tyre/road contact [PDF]
In the Structural Dynamics and Acoustics group at the University of Twente, we aim to develop a quantitative tyre/road noise model. An essential part of this model is an accurate contact algorithm which is fast enough to simulate tyre vibrations up to ...

A diagnostic method for reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS) based on non‐uniform space‐time‐coding modulation is presented. Fault localization is achieved via amplitude‐only spectral measurements, eliminating the need for complex signal processing. A one‐to‐one mapping between harmonic components and RIS elements enables accurate detection.

A General and Efficient Framework for the Rapid Design of Miniaturized, Wideband, and High‐Bit RIS
A general and efficient framework is proposed for the rapid design of high‐performance reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RISs). This framework integrates advanced antenna design techniques and incorporates various load types, quantities, and values to achieve the design of high‐performance RISs.

Recurrence of Uterine Rupture in a Pseudo-Unicornuate Uterus at 17 Weeks of Amenorrhea: Case Report and Literature Review [PDF]
Pregnancy in a rudimentary horn is a very rare condition. It is responsible for several complications.Prognosis is reserved because the natural evolution generally leads to a cataclysmic uterine ruptureat the beginning of the second trimester ...

Ruptured Rudimentary Uterine Horn Pregnancy: A Case Report
Pregnancy in rudimentary uterine horn has been reported to be very rare in literature, and is associated with adverse complications. Furthermore, it is also difficult to diagnose, and in most cases, is diagnosed after being ruptured.

Rupture of noncommunicating rudimentary uterine horn pregnancy
We present a rare case of pregnancy in a noncommunicating rudimentary horn that ruptured at 20 weeks.A 30-year-old woman presented with a history of two spontaneous abortions. An ultrasound scan showed a bicornuate uterus, with one normal and one hypoplastic horn.
