Fuzzy classification rules based on similarity.
2012The paper deals with the aggregation of classification rules by means of fuzzy integrals, in particular with the fuzzy measures employed in that aggregation. It points out that the kinds of fuzzy measures commonly encountered in this context do not take into account the diversity of classification rules.

Rule-Based Medical Content Extraction and Classification
2006We present the final version of the system for automatic content extraction from Polish medical data. The system combines general IE techniques with an external post-processing. The obtained data is normalized and linked to a simplified ontology. Then, it is automatically grouped to form more complex structures representing medical reports.

Combination of Metric-Based and Rule-Based Classification
2005We consider two classification approaches. The metric-based approach induces the distance measure between objects and classifies new objects on the basis of their nearest neighbors in the training set. The rule-based approach extracts rules from the training set and uses them to classify new objects.
