Geometry of ruled real hypersurfaces in a nonflat complex space form

open access: yesGeometry of ruled real hypersurfaces in a nonflat complex space form
This paper is the survey of the works with T. Adachi, H. Tanabe and M. Kimura. Ruled real hypersurfaces are typical examples of non-Hopf hypersurfaces in a nonflat complex space form. These examples are constructed by the same method in a complex projective space and a complex hyperbolic space.

SOME CHARACTERIZATIONS OF THE HOMOGENEOUS RULED REAL HYPERSURFACE IN A COMPLEX HYPERBOLIC SPACE

open access: yesSOME CHARACTERIZATIONS OF THE HOMOGENEOUS RULED REAL HYPERSURFACE IN A COMPLEX HYPERBOLIC SPACE
Motivated by the notion of ruled surfaces in Euclidean 3-space, we consider ruled real hypersurfaces isometrically immersed into an n-dimensional complex hyperbolic space of constant holomorphic sectional curvature c(< 0). The purpose of this expository paper is to give some geometric characterizations of the homogeneous ruled real hypersurface, that ...
