Non-lightlike constant angle ruled surfaces in Minkowski 3-space
, 2020In this paper, non-lightlike ruled surfaces of constant slope in Minkowski 3-space with a non-lightlike base curve c ( s ) = ∫ α t + β n + γ b d s , where t , n , b are tangent, principal normal and binormal vectors of an arbitrary timelike curve Γ ( s )

Bonnet surfaces are those immersions into Euclidean 3-space whose congruence class is not uniquely determined by their metric and mean curvature. As already proven by Bonnet, all Bonnet surfaces belong to one of the following classes: constant mean curvature surfaces, Bonnet families and Bonnet pairs.

Ruled surfaces obtained by bending of curves
, 2020We consider a first-order infinitesimal bending of a curve in R3 to obtain a ruled surface. This paper investigates this kind of ruled surfaces and their properties. Also, we obtain conditions for ruled surfaces obtained by bending to be developable.

Ruled surfaces constructed by quaternions
, 2020In this paper, we define a quaternionic operator whose scalar part is a real parameter and vector part is a curve in three dimensional real vector space R 3 .

Gaussian curvatures of parallel ruled surfaces
, 2020In this paper, the Gaussian curvatures of closed parallel ruled surfaces are calculated. We consider parallel ruled surfaces from indicatrix curves associated to Frenet vectors of the curve created on the unit dual sphere.

Five-axis CNC flank machining has been commonly used in the industry for shaping complex geometries. Geometrical errors typically occur in five-axis flank finishing of non-developable surfaces using a cylindrical cutter.

There is a unique curve called striction curve that is not present on a surface except a ruled surface. This curve is defined as the shortest distance with the help of a common perpendicular line between two adjacent rulings. In this work, we present Lorentz forces and magnetic striction curves produced by the geodesic Frenet frame on the striction ...

General Principles for Formation of Ruled Surfaces. Part 2
Geometry & Graphics, 2019In this paper the consideration related to formation of ruled surfaces with a single method for their set up that was proposed in the first part of the work, is continued. In the first part of the work were considered more than twenty variants for set up

General Principles for Formation of Ruled Surfaces. Part 1
Geometry & Graphics, 2019Probably, it is impossible to find such industry where the ruled surfaces would not be used. They are used in agriculture, in the heavy and light industries, in construction, in aircraft manufacturing, and in military art.
