Remarks on a rumor propagation model
This short note contains a few comments and corrections about some recent models for the spread of rumors in a population. We consider a system of ordinary differential equations which describes the evolution of Ignorant-Spreaders-Stiflers in time. State of the art of analytical understanding of those equations is based on studying asymptotic solutions

Survey on Visualization of Information Diffusion over Networks
Abstract Information Diffusion (ID) describes how a value (e.g., a pathogen, a rumor, a packet) spreads through an underlying “medium” network of elements (e.g., a social or computer network). Understanding the information diffusion process is essential to predicting trends, controlling misinformation, and enhancing decision‐making as well as ...

Unveiling Synergy Gains in Divestitures Using Options Market Information1
ABSTRACT We use stock and options information to decompose and provide a practical measure of the market's beliefs about the different sources of value creation from divestitures. We find that divestitures generate economically significant synergy gains that exceed $1 billion for both acquirers and sellers.

Dynamic Analysis and Optimal Control of Rumor Propagation Model with Reporting Effect
Media reports and the number of rumors in the media have an important impact on the spread of rumors. Currently, studies that consider these two factors comprehensively on rumor propagation are uncommon.

The Impact of TikTok on Elections: (Mis)information and Regulatory Challenges
ABSTRACT TikTok's algorithm‐driven feed is reshaping electoral communication, yet a clear understanding of its effects is lacking. This study synthesizes and appraises evidence on how the platform's design and governance shape political (dis)information and may affect electoral dynamics.
