Rumor-Propagation Model with Consideration of Refutation Mechanism in Homogeneous Social Networks
Discrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, 2014 In recent years, increasing attention has been paid to how to effectively manage rumor propagation. Based on previous studies of rumor propagation and some strategies used by the authorities to refute rumors and manage rumor propagation, we develop a new

Identification of Key Nodes in Rumor Propagation with Multi-structure and Attribute Fusion
Taiyuan Ligong Daxue xuebao[Purposes] How to quickly and accurately identify key rumor nodes has become an important challenge in current research. Existing studies usually use centrality methods based on network structure or machine learning methods based on node features to ...

Child &Family Social Work, EarlyView.ABSTRACT Honour‐based violence (HBV) is a serious social problem with significant health and social consequences for affected children. Despite growing policy attention, little is known about how child protection services address HBV in practice. This study examines how child protection investigations categorized as HBV are handled by a specialized ...

Rumor spreading in social networks
, 2009 Social networks are an interesting class of graphs likely to become of increasing importance in the future, not only theoretically, but also for its probable applications to ad hoc and mobile networking. Rumor spreading is one of the basic mechanisms for

Story2Board: A Training‐Free Approach for Expressive Visual Storytelling
Computer Graphics Forum, EarlyView.Abstract We present Story2Board, a training‐free framework for expressive storyboard generation from natural language. Existing methods narrowly focus on subject identity, overlooking key aspects of visual storytelling such as spatial composition, background evolution, and narrative pacing.

Survey on Visualization of Information Diffusion over Networks
Computer Graphics Forum, EarlyView.Abstract Information Diffusion (ID) describes how a value (e.g., a pathogen, a rumor, a packet) spreads through an underlying “medium” network of elements (e.g., a social or computer network). Understanding the information diffusion process is essential to predicting trends, controlling misinformation, and enhancing decision‐making as well as ...

Chinese Lending and Sovereign Debt Distress in Developing Countries
Economics &Politics, EarlyView.ABSTRACT China has emerged as the world's largest bilateral creditor to developing countries, yet its effects on sovereign debt outcomes remain contested. Competing theoretical perspectives predict opposing effects: Chinese lending may increase debt vulnerability through opacity, moral hazard, and unsustainable obligations, or reduce it by providing ...
