Nuclear pore links Fob1‐dependent rDNA damage relocation to lifespan control

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Damaged rDNA accumulates at a specific perinuclear interface that couples nucleolar escape with nuclear envelope association. Nuclear pores at this site help inhibit Fob1‐induced rDNA instability. This spatial organization of damage handling supports a functional link between nuclear architecture, rDNA stability, and replicative lifespan in yeast.

Cutaneous Melanoma Drives Metabolic Changes in the Aged Bone Marrow Immune Microenvironment

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.

The Amateur Human: Seeing Running at RUN RUN RUN International Festival of Running

open access: yes
What forms of knowledge are at stake if we approach running as a mode of enquiry, as an investigative, and in turn, participatory act, a performance in and of the world? Though not at ease when I run - an understatement - I am easily evoking a complex set of social, cultural and political contexts that arguably locate running as the defining body-based
