Exchange Rates and Sovereign Risk: A Nonlinear Approach Based on Local Gaussian Correlations

ABSTRACT We empirically assess the interlinkages between sovereign risk, measured in terms of CDS spreads, and exchange rates for a sample of emerging markets. Climate change amplifies global mycotoxin exposure: Emerging risks and sustainable solutions

Climate change intensifies mycotoxin contamination through rising temperatures, elevated CO2, and altered precipitation. Global surveys reveal a high and widespread prevalence of major mycotoxins in staple cereals, with low‐income countries bearing the greatest burden.

Long‐Term Analysis of Winter Wheat Yield and Climatic Influences in Ukraine

Long‐term field data (1968–2024) show that winter wheat yields in central Ukraine increased despite warming, but yield stability declined. Rising temperatures, more frequent soil moisture droughts and shortened winter calm increasingly limit productivity.
