Hypotensive Properties And Acute Toxicity Of Trans-[ru(nh3)4p(oet)3(no)](pf6) 3, A New Nitric Oxide Donor

open access: yes, 2015
The hypotensive effect and the acute toxicity of trans-[Ru(NH3)4P(OEt)3(NO)](PF6) 3 (RuNO) were investigated in conscious animals. The approximate lethal dose of RuNO is 257.5 μmol/kg in mice i.p.

Substrate‐Affinitive P‐Type Azapolycyclic Photosensitizer for Chemoselective Nitrilization Under Mild Conditions

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We developed a series of quinoxalinoquinoxaline (QQ) photosensitizers featuring high and tunable excited‐state reduction potentials (E(PC•+/PC*) = –1.76 to –2.05 V vs. SCE). Their hydrogen‐bonding interaction with carbonyl substrates enables selective single‐electron transfer events for selective nitrilization of 1° amides, offering a tunable ...

Organic redox probes for the key oxidation states in mixed valence ruthenium oxide/cyanometallate (ruthenium Prussian blue analogue) catalysts

open access: yes, 2014
The electrochemical redox behavior of the polynuclear mixed valence ruthenium oxide cyanometallate complexes (mvRuOx-MCN, M=Fe, Cr, Ni, Cu, Ru and Pt) have been systematically studied in this report by using three redox sensitive organic probes of ...

Electrochemically Induced Oxide‐to‐Hydroxide Transformation Enables Fast Proton Transport for Enhanced Hydrogen Evolution

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An electrochemically induced transformation of polar MgO(111) into Mg(OH)2(001) creates a proton‐conductive hydroxide layer during hydrogen evolution. Operando synchrotron XRD and DFT reveal a low‐barrier Grotthuss proton‐hopping mechanism, establishing a feasible strategy for designing oxide‐hydroxide electrocatalysts with enhanced proton transport ...

Rational Design of Broad‐Spectrum Anti‐Enteroviral Molecular Glues Targeting Enteroviral RNAi Suppressors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
By leveraging this homodimerization mechanism, molecular glues were rationally designed to induce dysfunctional 3A dimerization, thereby restoring antiviral RNAi. The optimal molecular glue, VTP‐32, demonstrated potent and pan‐enterovirus (groups A, B, D) antiviral effects.

The influence of oxide sol properties on the capacitive behavior of carbon supported hydrous ruthenium oxide

open access: yes, 2004
Carbon supported hydrous ruthenium oxide was prepared by ail ultrasonic threatment of carbon black-RuOxHy sol mixture (impregnation). Black Pearl 2000(R) was used as a supporting material, while an oxide sol was prepared by forced hydrolysis of hydrous ...

Breaking the Bottleneck in Limit of Detection of Surface Refractive Index Sensing by Harnessing Meta‐Waveguide Microring Resonators

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Mode splitting in meta‐waveguide microring resonators (MWMRs) effectively suppresses baseline drift and measurement noise while maintaining high refractive‐index sensitivity. This reflection‐induced mode splitting strategy enables quantitative detection of ultra‐weak surface perturbations and establishes MWMRs as a robust, drift‐immune platform for ...

Unleashing the Power of P‐N Heterojunctions: Optimizing Water Electrolysis Efficiency Through a Cathode‐Driven Electrocatalyst Synergy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This groundbreaking contribution to water electrolysis demonstrates that MoSe2/PANI electrocatalysts with a P–N heterojunction effectively balance the overall electrolysis reaction as the cathode, enhance anode performance, and achieve high‐efficiency, low‐energy, simultaneous hydrogen and oxygen production, revealing that the P–N heterojunction ...
