Oxidative Dimerization of Arylalkynyl–Ruthenium Complexes

Organometallics, 2011
Chemical oxidation of Ru(C≡CPh)(PPh3)2Cp with [FeCp2]PF6 affords the binuclear cationic complexes [Cp(PPh3)2Ru{═C═CHC6H4CPh═C═}Ru(PPh3)2Cp](PF6)2 (2) and [Cp(PPh3)2Ru{C≡C(C6H4)CPh═C═}Ru(PPh3)2Cp]PF6 (3) by radical coupling at sites shown to be electron-rich by DFT studies, particularly involving the acetylide Cβ and Ph Cpara atoms and, to a lesser ...

Characterization and dissolution properties of ruthenium oxides

Journal of Colloid and Interface Science, 2011
Ruthenium oxides (RuO(2)·1·10H(2)O and RuO(2)) have been synthesized by forced hydrolysis and oxidation of ruthenium chloride. The resulting materials were extensively characterized to determine the crystallinity, surface area, and ruthenium oxidation state.

Characterization of Tantalum Oxide–Ruthenium Oxide Hybrid Capacitors

IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, 2004
The ac and dc performance and leakage current of Evans tantalum oxide-ruthenium oxide hybrid capacitors were characterized at room temperature. The RC time constants were in the range from 2 to 0.45 ms and dependent on the maximum operational voltage of the capacitor.

Ruthenium and ruthenium oxide nanofiber supports for enhanced activity of platinum electrocatalysts in the methanol oxidation reaction

Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics, 2016
Ru and RuO2 nanofiber composites arranged into nanosized grains as Pt catalyst supports are synthesized by electrospinning and post-calcination, which show excellent electrochemical activity.

Increased electrochemical properties of ruthenium oxide and graphene/ruthenium oxide hybrid dispersed by polyvinylpyrrolidone

Journal of Alloys and Compounds, 2012
Abstract Ruthenium oxide has been prepared by a sol–gel method. Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) as an excellent polymeric dispersant is adopted to prevent aggregation of ruthenium oxide. In order to enhance the rate capability of ruthenium oxide, graphene with residual oxygen functional groups as a 2D support has been merged into ruthenium oxide.

Ruthenium-Catalyzed Oxidative Cleavage of Olefins to Aldehydes

The Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2001
Three oxidation protocols have been developed to cleave olefins to carbonyl compounds with ruthenium trichloride as catalyst (3.5 mol %). These methods convert olefins that are not fully substituted to aldehydes rather than carboxylic acids. While aryl olefins were cleaved to aromatic aldehydes in excellent yields by using the system of RuCl3-Oxone ...

Atomic Layer Deposition of Ruthenium and Ruthenium Oxide Using a Zero-Oxidation State Precursor

Chemistry of Materials, 2017
Atomic layer deposition (ALD) processes are reported for ruthenium (Ru) and ruthenium oxide (RuO2) using a zero-oxidation state liquid precursor, η4-2,3-dimethylbutadiene ruthenium tricarbonyl [Ru(DMBD)(CO)3]. Both ALD Ru and RuO2 films were deposited using alternating N2 -purge-separated pulses of Ru(DMBD)(CO)3 and O2.
