Hydrothermal synthesis of ZnO nanotubes for CO gas sensing
Carbon monoxide (CO) gas sensing response of hydrothermally synthesized hexagonal ZnO nanostructures was examined with respect to its morphologies. Synthesized ZnO nanostructures were characterized by X-Ray diffraction (XRD), Field Emission Scanning ...

Detection of an exoplanet around the evolved K giant HD 66141
Aims. We have been carrying out a precise radial velocity (RV) survey for K giants to search for and study the origin of the lowamplitude and long-periodic RV variations. Methods. We present high-resolution RV measurements of the K2 giant HD 66141 from

A Gaussian process framework for modelling stellar activity signals in radial velocity data
To date, the radial velocity (RV) method has been one of the most productive techniques for detecting and confirming extrasolar planetary candidates. Unfortunately, stellar activity can induce RV variations which can drown out or even mimic planetary ...

The PTF Orion Project: a Possible Planet Transiting a T-Tauri Star [PDF]
We report observations of a possible young transiting planet orbiting a previously known weak-lined T-Tauri star in the 7-10 Myr old Orion-OB1a/25-Ori region. The candidate was found as part of the Palomar Transient Factory (PTF) Orion project.
