Flagellins as Vaccine Adjuvants and Cancer Immunotherapy: Recent Advances and Future Prospects
Immunology, Volume 176, Issue 3, Page 277-303, November 2025.The figure depicts the role of flagellin in immune cells. Flagellin interacts with TLR5, resulting in the formation of homodimers and the recruitment of MyD88, which activates the IκB and MAPK signalling pathways. This results in the activation of NF‐κB and AP‐1, producing TNF‐α, IL‐6, IL‐8, and IL‐12.
