Several Affinity Tags Commonly Used in Chromatographic Purification
Affinity tags have become powerful tools from basic biological research to structural and functional proteomics. They were widely used to facilitate the purification and detection of proteins of interest, as well as the separation of protein complexes ...

Improved $K_{\rm S}$ Tagging Procedure and Its Impact on Physics at KLOE-2 [PDF]
The KLOE experiment at the DA$ $NE $ $-factory performed precise studies of charged and neutral kaon physics, low energy QCD, as well as tests of CP and CPT invariance. For the new run the KLOE has been upgraded by adding new tagger systems for the $ $ physics, the inner tracking chamber and two calorimeters in the final focusing region.

The Versatile Molecular Complex Component LC8 Promotes Several Distinct Steps of Flagellar Assembly [PDF]
LC8 is present in various molecular complexes. However, its role in these complexes remains unclear. We discovered that although LC8 is a subunit of the radial spoke (RS) complex in Chlamydomonas flagella, it was undetectable in the RS precursor that is ...

Some results of nontrivial solutions for a nonlinear PDE in Sobolev space
In this study, we investigate the question of nonexistence of nontrivial solutions of the Robin problem \begin{equation} \left\vert\begin{array}{l} -\dfrac{\partial ^{2}u}{\partial x^{2}}-\sum\limits_{s=1}^{n}\dfrac{\partial}{\partial y_{s}}a_{s}(y,\frac{

A regulatory mutant on TRIM26 conferring the risk of nasopharyngeal carcinoma by inducing low immune response. [PDF]
The major histocompatibility complex (MHC) is most closely associated with nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC), but the complexity of its genome structure has proven challenging for the discovery of causal MHC loci or genes.

Glycerol-3-phosphate acyltransferase-2 is expressed in spermatic germ cells and incorporates arachidonic acid into triacylglycerols. [PDF]
De novo glycerolipid synthesis begins with the acylation of glycerol-3 phosphate catalyzed by glycerol-3-phosphate acyltransferase (GPAT). In mammals, at least four GPAT isoforms have been described, differing in their cell and tissue locations and ...
