Background The purpose of this study was to compare the treatment efficacy and safety of re-irradiation (re-RT) using stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SABR) and initial SABR for primary, recurrent lung cancer or metastatic lung tumor.

Abstract. In January 1977 a new type of radar aurora experiment named STARE (Scandinavian Twin Aurora Radar Experiment) commenced operation in northern Scandinavia. The purpose of the experiment was two-fold: to make observations of the nature of radar auroras, and to contribute to the study of solar–terrestrial relationships (or space weather).

Background Stereotactic ablative radiation therapy (SABR) is effective in treating inoperable stage I non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), but imaging assessment of response after SABR is difficult.

Coherent evolution of signal amplification by reversible exchange in two alternating fields (alt-SABRE) [PDF]
Parahydrogen (pH2) is a convenient and cost efficient source for magnetic resonance signal enhancement. Transient interaction of pH2 with a metal organic complex in a signal amplification by reversible exchange (SABRE) experiment enabled more than 10% polarization for some 15N molecules.

Background sabR is a pleiotropic regulatory gene which has been shown to positively regulate the nikkomycin biosynthesis and negatively affect the sporulation of Streptomyces ansochromogenes.

Quantification of hyperpolarisation efficiency in SABRE and SABRE-Relay enhanced NMR spectroscopy [PDF]
The linear relationship between the level of p-H2 enrichment and the polarisation of the target molecule provides a route to quantifying the efficiency of the signal amplification by reversible exchange (SABRE) and SABRE-Relay NMR hyperpolarisation methods.

The SABRE Proof of Principle [PDF]
Abstract SABRE is a dark matter direct detection experiment based on NaI(Tl) scintillating crystals. The primary goal of the experiment is to test the dark matter interpretation of the DAMA/LIBRA annual modulation signal. To reach its purpose, SABRE will operate an array of ultra-low background NaI(Tl) crystals within an active veto ...
