Optimal joint estimation of multiple Rabi frequencies [PDF]
We study the joint estimation of multiple Rabi frequencies in a multilevel system. By analytically identifying the optimal probe state and the optimal measurement, we obtain the highest precision limit for the joint estimation of multiple Rabi frequencies. We show that the joint estimation does not always outperform the separate estimation.

Features of sacroiliac joint x-ray examination in dogs
Sacroiliac joint instability is a fairly common pathology of the musculoskeletal system, which is observed in dogs of various breeds, sex, and age. This problem has received little attention in the research field, veterinary literature and clinical ...

Pose And Joint-Aware Action Recognition [PDF]
Recent progress on action recognition has mainly focused on RGB and optical flow features. In this paper, we approach the problem of joint-based action recognition. Unlike other modalities, constellation of joints and their motion generate models with succinct human motion information for activity recognition.

Seasonal Variation in HLA‐B27 Associated Uveitis
ABSTRACT Background To examine if there was a monthly variation in HLA‐B27‐associated uveitis. Methods Retrospective review of all individuals presenting to a single centre with HLA‐B27‐associated uveitis from 2009 to 2020. Results 577 participants with HLA‐B27‐associated uveitis were included. The median age at presentation was 40.4 years (IQR 31.1–51.

Modified triangular osteosynthesis in the treatment of bilateral sacroiliac joint dislocation
Bilateral sacroiliac joint dislocation is a rare injury associated with rotational and vertical instability of the pelvic ring. The ideal strategy for the reduction and fixation of this injury is poorly described in the current literature.

Summary Background Impinging dorsal spinous processes (IDSP) are a common cause of pain and loss of performance in sports horses, with a range of surgical and conservative treatments available. Objectives Identify relationships between treatment choice and the likelihood of returning to previous level of performance for horses diagnosed with IDSP ...

Automatic joint damage quantification using computer vision and deep learning [PDF]
Joint raveled or spalled damage (henceforth called joint damage) can affect the safety and long-term performance of concrete pavements. It is important to assess and quantify the joint damage over time to assist in building action plans for maintenance, predicting maintenance costs, and maximize the concrete pavement service life.

Abstract Background Cross‐sectional imaging improves the diagnostic accuracy of complex anatomical regions. Computed tomography (CT) of the pelvis and caudal spine in a large group of live horses and ponies has not been previously reported. Objective To describe the procedure for acquiring CT images of horses' caudal spine/pelvis under general ...
