Impact of System‐Model Mismatch in Fourier Ptychographic Microscopy

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, EarlyView.
This study investigates the robustness of Fourier ptychography microscope (FPM) reconstruction algorithms across various scenarios, each representing challenges encountered in practical FPM experiments, and deduces the extent to which FPM can provide diffraction‐limited resolution under the influence of various sources of error.

N‐Doped Nonalternant Molecular Bowl/Saddle Hybrids

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
N‐Doped molecular bowl/saddle hybrids were developed via core‐expansion synthetic strategy. Owing to the structural features containing both positive and negative curvatures, these molecules exhibit unique molecular dynamics, photophysical properties and multiple guest bindings. Abstract Herein, we report the straightforward synthesis and properties of

A Mild and Efficient Iridium‐Catalyzed Method for Aldimine Hydrogenation

open access: yesAdvanced Synthesis &Catalysis, EarlyView.
A mild, efficient, and broadly applicable iridium‐catalyzed method for aldimine hydrogenation, facilitating access to an array of corresponding amine products in high isolated yields is reported. The developed methodology employs a bidentate iridium‐N‐heterocyclic carbene‐phosphine complex for use at low catalyst loadings, and proceeds under an ...

Evaluation of thermal pattern distributions in racehorse saddles using infrared thermography.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2019
The impact of a rider's and saddle's mass on saddle thermal pattern distribution was evaluated using infrared thermography (IRT). Eighteen racehorses were ridden by four riders with their own saddle.

Diffusion Characteristics of Ru and Oxygen Vacancies in Ta2O5 for Resistive Random Access Memory Devices: A Density Functional Theory Investigation

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Atomistic analysis of ruthenium (Ru) and oxygen vacancy (OV) diffusion in Ta₂O₅‐based memristors is performed. DFT calculations demonstrate interstitial Ru in Ta₂O₅ has lower diffusion barriers and formation energies than OVs, enhancing mobility and stability.

AN INTERVIEW ABOUT SADDLE-MAKING, ONE OF THE TRADITIONAL HANDICRAFTS, IN BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

open access: yesHuman Research in Rehabilitation, 2012
Handicraft products are of great value as material culture products since they have been used during definite times of a society. These products are significant because they will ensure cultural continuity between the past and future. Saaddle-making, a

A proof of Perko's conjectures for the Bogdanov-Takens system

open access: yes, 2013
The Bogdanov-Takens system has at most one limit cycle and, in the parameter space, it exists between a Hopf and a saddle-loop bifurcation curves. The aim of this paper is to prove the Perko's conjectures about some analytic properties of the saddle-loop

Atomistic Modeling of Valence Change Memory Devices: What Can We Learn from Simulations?

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Simulation of resistive switching in valence change memory cells tusing density functional theory (DFT), molecular dynamics (MD), nudged elastic band (NEB), kinetic Monte Carlo (KMC), and quantum transport (QT) methods. Abstract Resistive switching devices based on the valence change effect have shown promise for applications in emerging in‐memory and ...

Insights on SEI Growth and Properties in Na‐Ion Batteries via Physically Driven Kinetic Monte Carlo Model

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
The novel kinetic Monte Carlo model presented here incorporates spatially‐ and time‐dependent electrical potential, which enables the precise study of the solid electrolyte interphase formation in Na‐ion batteries. The effects of electrolyte composition and charging conditions on the growth and behavior of the solid electrolyte interphase during the ...
