Biological J‐Coupling Spectroscopy at Low Magnetic Field
The strong J(C,H)‐coupling from [2‐13C] pyruvate is exploited to measure the pyruvate‐to‐lactate conversion in cancer cells at low magnetic fields. This is combined with a parahydrogen‐induced polarizationprotocol optimized to provide a biocompatible solution with 20 000‐fold signal enhancement.

This work investigates thiophene‐based cations for surface passivation in inverted perovskite solar cells. Double‐thiophene methylammonium iodide improves open‐circuit voltage, suppresses nonradiative recombination, and allows an improved power conversion efficiency.
