Distribution and Kinematics of Classical Cepheids in the Galactic Outer Ring
The existence of an outer ring in the Galaxy can explain the kinematics of OB associations in the Perseus and Sagittarius stellar-gas complexes. Moreover, it can also explain the orientation of the Carina arm with respect to the major axis of the bar. We

Dark Matter Direct Search Rates in Simulations of the Milky Way and Sagittarius Stream
We analyze self-consistent N-body simulations of the Milky Way disk and the ongoing disruption of the Sagittarius dwarf satellite to study the effect of Sagittarius tidal debris on dark matter detection experiments. In agreement with significant previous

Radio images of Sagittarius. I - Overview, Sagittarius D and Sagittarius E
The Sagittarius source complex (sources Sgr A-E) was mapped in the radio continuum at 1616 MHz with various combinations of the VLA B, C, and D configurations, showing the detailed structure of many sources for the first time. An overview of that survey and of the kinematics of neutral gas in the complex is given.

Tracing out the Northern Tidal Stream of the Sagittarius Dwarf Spheoridal Galaxy
The main aim of this paper is to report two new detections of tidal debris in the northern stream of the Sagittarius dwarf galaxy located at 45 arcdeg and 55 arcdeg from the center of galaxy.

Tidal streams in a MOND potential: constraints from Sagittarius [PDF]
We compare orbits in a thin axisymmetric disc potential in MOND to those in a thin disc plus near-spherical dark matter halo predicted by a $\Lambda$CDM cosmology.

The role of electron heating physics in images and variability of the Galactic Centre black hole Sagittarius A* [PDF]
The accretion flow around the Galactic Center black hole Sagittarius A* (Sgr A*) is expected to have an electron temperature that is distinct from the ion temperature, due to weak Coulomb coupling in the low-density plasma.

Observing—and Imaging—Active Galactic Nuclei with the Event Horizon Telescope
Originally developed to image the shadow region of the central black hole in Sagittarius A* and in the nearby galaxy M87, the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) provides deep, very high angular resolution data on other active galactic nucleus (AGN) sources ...
