Influence of Symbiotic Fermentation Broth on Regulating Metabolism with Gut Microbiota and Metabolite Profiles Is Estimated Using a Third-Generation Sequencing Platform [PDF]

open access: yesMetabolites, 2023
Overnutrition with a high-fat or high-sugar diet is widely considered to be the risk factor for various metabolic, chronic, or malignant diseases that are accompanied by alterations in gut microbiota, metabolites, and downstream pathways.

Hydrodynamic simulations of the inner accretion flow of Sagittarius A* fuelled by stellar winds [PDF]

open access: greenMonthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society, 2018
We present Athena++ grid-based, hydrodynamic simulations of accretion onto Sagittarius A* via the stellar winds of the $\sim 30$ Wolf-Rayet stars within the central parsec of the galactic center.

Effects of Dark Matter Self-interactions on Sagittarius and its Stream [PDF]

open access: greenThe Astrophysical Journal
This work explores how assumptions regarding the particle-physics nature of dark matter can alter the evolution of the Sagittarius (Sgr) dwarf spheroidal galaxy and its expansive stellar stream.

Early r-process Enrichment and Hierarchical Assembly Across the Sagittarius Dwarf Galaxy [PDF]

open access: greenThe Astronomical Journal
Dwarf galaxies like Sagittarius (Sgr) provide a unique window into the early stages of galactic chemical evolution, particularly through their metal-poor stars.

A Relativistic Disk in Sagittarius A* [PDF]

open access: greenAstronomische Nachrichten, 2003
The detection of a mm/Sub-mm ``bump'' in Sgr A*'s radio spectrum suggests that at least a portion of its overall emission is produced within a compact accretion torus. This inference is strengthened by observations of strong linear polarization (at the 10 percent level) within this bump. No linear polarization has been detected yet at other wavelengths.

Thermal Properties of the Hot Core Population in Sagittarius B2 Deep South [PDF]

open access: greenThe Astrophysical Journal
We report the discovery of nine new hot molecular cores in the Deep South (DS) region of Sagittarius B2 using Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array Band 6 observations.

Stellar orbits near Sagittarius A [PDF]

open access: yesMonthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society, 2002
We present new SHARP/NTT stellar proper motion and accelaration data covering an interval from 1992 to 2000: 1) We combine the high precision but shorter time scale NIRC/Keck data with the lower precision but longer time scale SHARP/NTT data set; 2) We statistically correct the observed accelerations for geometrical projection effects; 3) We exclude ...
