Ecological Insights and Management Implications of the Global Migratory Connectivity of Green Turtles

open access: yesDiversity and Distributions, Volume 32, Issue 5, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Aim Green turtles are a widely distributed and highly migratory species; despite extensive data on their movement, there is no species‐specific global synthesis on the subject. open access: yesGlobal Ecology and Biogeography, Volume 35, Issue 4, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Aim Across the tree of life, interspecific gene flow is coming to be recognised not just as an aberrant, albeit common, phenomenon, but as an evolutionary process that is inextricably linked to speciation itself. Pleistocene Forest Stability Predicts Patterns of Frog Diversity in Central Africa

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 3, March 2026.
Using high‐resolution paleoclimate reconstructions, we quantified habitat stability for Central African rainforests across 257 time slices since the early Pleistocene. Stacked projections of forest‐dependent frog niches identify both a large, continuous refugium and smaller, highly stable forest blocks embedded within today's forest cover.
