ABSTRACT Tectonic processes play a key role in the global mercury (Hg) cycle on geological timescales, by mobilising Hg from deep Earth reservoirs to the surface. These natural fluxes also introduce a dynamic component to the terrestrial Hg cycle that can interact with other environmental signals and influence Hg delivery to sedimentary records.

NMR‐Based Structural Elucidation of a New Dihydroisocoumarin and Related Polyketides From a Mangrove‐Derived Fusarium sp.

Integration of bioactivity screening and LC–MS/MS metabolomics enabled the discovery of a new antibacterial dihydroisocoumarin from Fusarium sp. IQ‐1921. NMR‐based structural elucidation identified five related metabolites, with the new compound 1 showing the broadest activity against multidrug‐resistant bacteria.
