Cardiomyocyte‐Enriched USP20 Ameliorates Pathological Cardiac Hypertrophy by Targeting STAT3 Deubiquitination

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Cardiomyocyte‐enriched USP20 regulates the K63‐linked ubiquitination of STAT3, and the cardiomyocyte‐specific USP20‐STAT3‐CARM1 axis exerts a protective role in cardiac hypertrophy. Targeting USP20 through cardiac‐specific gene therapy presents a promising strategy for the treatment of cardiac hypertrophy.

Semaphorin 3E‐Plexin‐D1 Pathway Downstream of the Luteinizing Hormone Surge Regulates Ovulation, Granulosa Cell Luteinization, and Ovarian Angiogenesis in Mice

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The Semaphorin 3E (Sema3E)‐Plexin‐D1 pathway mediated by C/EBPα and C/EBPβ downstream of the luteinizing hormone (LH) surge plays important roles in the mouse preovulatory ovary. Timely activation and suppression of this pathway during the preovulatory stage are crucial for ovulation, corpus luteum formation, and proper angiogenesis.

High‐Throughput Fluorescence Screening Enables Globally Consistent Identification of ABA Signaling Modulators

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This paper establishes a global high‐throughput fluorescence screening (GhitFluors) platform to efficiently identify ABA signaling modulators. It effectively identifies diopyridin, a regulator with strong binding affinity to PYR1, and more than 80% inhibitory activity against HAB1, which is equivalent to ABA.

Immunotyping the Tumor Microenvironment Reveals Molecular Heterogeneity for Personalized Immunotherapy in Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study develops TMEclassifier, a machine‐learning tool that classifies cancers into three distinct subtypes—Immune exclusive (IE), immune suppressive (IS), and immune activated (IA)—which exhibit significant heterogeneity and necessitate customized therapeutic strategies.
