Comparison of the effect of various storage media on the fracture resistance of the reattached incisor tooth fragments: An in vitro study

open access: yesIndian Journal of Dental Sciences, 2017
Background: Fragment reattachment is a conservative and a valid alternative compared to direct composite. Aim: The aim of this study is to assess and compare effect of storage medium on the fracture resistance of the reattached tooth fragments stored in ...

Adenosine‐to‐inosine editing of miR‐200b‐3p is associated with the progression of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A‐to‐I editing of miRNAs, particularly miR‐200b‐3p, contributes to HGSOC progression by enhancing cancer cell proliferation, migration and 3D growth. The edited form is linked to poorer patient survival and the identification of novel molecular targets.

Investigating the cell of origin and novel molecular targets in Merkel cell carcinoma: a historic misnomer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study indicates that Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) does not originate from Merkel cells, and identifies gene, protein & cellular expression of immune‐linked and neuroendocrine markers in primary and metastatic Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) tumor samples, linked to Merkel cell polyomavirus (MCPyV) status, with enrichment of B‐cell and other immune cell

MICROECONOMICS OF IRRIGATION WITH SALINE WATER [PDF]

open access: yes
Water management and reuse at the field level are analyzed under saline, limited drainage conditions. A function relating crop yield and deep percolation flows to applied water and salinity concentration is developed.

Valorisation of legume nodulating bacteria diversity for degraded arid and saline Algerian land restoration [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
In Algeria soils available for agriculture are limited by salinity and drought. In this country there is a need for plant production improvement to face the increasing demand for human food and fodder.

Sodium nitroprusside and salicylic acid facilitated post-stress recovery in birch seedlings under cadmium stress by modulating ROS/RNS and lupeol levels

open access: yesChemical and Biological Technologies in Agriculture
Nitric oxide (NO) and salicylic acid (SA) are recognized for their ability to mitigate cadmium (Cd) stress, yet their roles in facilitating plant post-stress recovery after Cd exposure remain poorly understood.
