Abstract Scientific fishing programmes were carried out between 1979 and 2013 in several West African estuarine, coastal and lagoon ecosystems. Batrachoides liberiensis represented only 5.2% of the occurrences, of which the majority were recorded in the Sine Saloum estuary.

Relationships between saturated paste and 1:1 or 1:5 soil/water extract sodium adsorption ratios
Abstract This study investigates the relationship between the sodium adsorption ratio acquired by the saturated paste extract (SARe) method and those acquired by 1:1 and 1:5 soil/water extracts (SAR1:1 and SAR1:5) by using 122 surface soil samples from 5 agricultural areas of Greece.

Abstract The Arabian Gulf countries are facing unprecedented water management challenges owing to limited water resources and salinization of the soil. Date palm trees represent a crucial socio‐economic asset in the region. Improving water productivity and tolerance to salinity are the most viable options.

Changes in West African Summer Monsoon Precipitation Under Stratospheric Aerosol Geoengineering
Abstract Stratospheric aerosol geoengineering (SAG) is suggested as a potential way to reduce the climate impacts of global warming. Using simulations from the Geoengineering Large Ensemble project that employed stratospheric sulfate aerosols injection to keep global mean surface temperature and also the interhemispheric and equator‐to‐pole temperature

Our focal saltmarsh grass expressed conservative leaf traits and invested more in below‐ground biomass under high salinity. Yet, it was still able to express a high proportion of coarse roots and produce greater above‐ground biomass under high redox.
