Ductal papilloma of the minor salivary gland

Histopathology, 1991
A case of ductal papilloma occurring in a minor salivary gland is reported. To date, only a few cases of ductal papillomas have been reported; these comprise mainly inverted ductal papilloma, intraductal papilloma and sialoadenoma papilliferum. However, it may be that these neoplasms form a spectrum of neoplastic changes seen in minor salivary gland ...

Intraoral Cancer of the Minor Salivary Glands

Clinics in Plastic Surgery, 1976

Morphological features of the minor salivary glands

Archives of Oral Biology, 1999
The minor salivary glands are important components of the oral cavity, present in most parts of the mouth, and their secretions directly bathe the tissues. Major and minor salivary glands tumours

Critical Reviews in Oncology/Hematology, 2003
Malignant salivary gland tumours are rare. The most common tumour site is the parotid. Aetiologic factors are not clear. Nutrition may be a risk factor, as well as irradiation or an histologically benign tumour occurred at a young age. Painless swelling of a salivary gland should always be considered as suspicious, especially if no sign of inflammation

Lymphoepithelial Carcinoma of the Minor Salivary Gland

Archives of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, 1997
Undifferentiated carcinoma of the minor salivary glands has been rarely reported in the world literature. Lymphoepithelial carcinoma, which is a variant of undifferentiated carcinoma, is distinguished from small cell and large cell undifferentiated carcinoma by its association with benign lymphoepithelial lesions. We report a case of a lymphoepithelial
