DNA restriction and modification systems in Salmonella
Molecular and General Genetics MGG, 1975By screening 42 Salmonella strains with P3, a temperate bacteriophage with an unusually wide host range, five new DNA restriction and modification systems (R-M systems) were identified in five different serotypes in Kauffmann-White group C. One of these systems, SP, in a Pl-sensitive strain of S.

Effects of Nutritional and Environmental Conditions on Salmonella sp. Biofilm Formation
Journal of Food Science, 2010Abstract: Biofilm formation on food industry surfaces has important health and economic consequences, since they can serve as a potential source of contamination for food products, which may lead to food spoilage or transmission of diseases. Salmonella sp.

Pathologie-biologie, 1992
From 1989 through 1991, 6033 stool specimens from patients at Orleans Hospital (France), were cultured for enteric pathogens. Hektoen agar (HE) was compared with Salmonella-Shigella agar (SS) after direct streaking and after overnight enrichment in Mueller-Kauffmann broth. Yersinia strains were not computed.

The Salmonella sp. TLP: A Periplasmic 5-Hydroxyisourate Hydrolase
2009The primary, secondary, tertiary and quaternary structures of TTRs have been highly conserved during the evolution of vertebrates. This suggests that the TTR gene must have evolved prior to the divergence of vertebrates from invertebrates. Open reading frames predicted to encode a TTR homolog, transthyretin-like protein (TLP) were identified in all ...
