Hot gaseous atmospheres in galaxy groups and clusters are both heated and cooled by X-ray cavities
Expanding X-ray cavities observed in hot gas atmospheres of many galaxy groups and clusters generate shock waves and turbulence that are primary heating mechanisms required to avoid uninhibited radiatively cooling flows which are not observed.

Abstract figure legend Traditional planar imaging approaches of the left atrium do not capture complex geometry. Four‐dimensional imaging allows the acquisition of 3D data + time to visualize left atrial geometry and kinematics. We designed an advanced analysis technique to investigate left atrial biomechanics in a model of pressure overload and ...

Survival of molecular gas in Virgo's hot intracluster medium: CO near M86
We carried out CO(1-0) and CO(2-1) observations of 21 different regions in the vicinity of M86, NGC4438, and along the 120 kpc-long, Ha-emitting filamentary trail that connects them, aiming to test whether molecular gas can survive to be transferred from

ABSTRACT Products sold in bulk and the reuse of packaging are attracting growing attention. While consumers perceive reusable packaging as providing an environmental function, it is not always convenient. Reusable packaging, as a reverse logistics model, forces them to consider a new logistical role—namely, packaging that requires balancing potentially

Cold gas in the Intra Cluster Medium: implications for flow dynamics and powering optical nebulae
We show that the mechanical energy injection rate generated as the intra-cluster medium (ICM) flows around cold clouds may be sufficient to power the optical and near infra-red emission of nebulae observed in the central regions of a sample of seven ...

Investigating Physiology‐Behavior Associations for Youth During Parent–Child Conflict Discussions
ABSTRACT Adolescents’ observed affective behavior is associated with patterns of concurrent physiological responding, which explain clinically relevant outcomes. Few studies have elucidated the physiology‐behavior association during the developmentally salient context of conflict with parents.

A preclinical setup for spatially fractionated radiation therapy with electrons
Abstract Background Spatially fractionated radiation therapy (SFRT) has therapeutic potential as a priming therapy which boosts tumor control. However, the optimal delivery and spatial fractionation parameters have not been deciphered and the mechanisms at play are not yet fully understood.
