Robotic-assisted Salpingostomy for Ectopic Pregnancy
Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Canada, 2010A27-year-old woman was referred for surgical treatment of left ectopic pregnancy. At laparoscopy, we found an ectopic pregnancy 3 to 4 cm in diameter in the isthmus of the left fallopian tube. Electromicrosurgery and salpingostomy: Long-term results
American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, 1975It seems that a technique which is as atraumatic and as bloodless as possible gives good results. This "atraumatic and bloodless" surgery is possible by means of electrosurgery, refined to a form of microsurgery. The author presents his long-term results (observations over 8 years). Pregnancies: 63 per cent; resulting in 24 per cent ectopic pregnancies

Laparoscopic salpingostomy for ectopic pregnancy.
Obstetrics and gynecology, 1988Seventy-nine ampullary tubal ectopic pregnancies were managed using laparoscopic linear salpingostomy. An incision was made on the antimesenteric side of the fallopian tube, over the point of maximum bulge, with unipolar electrocautery, the argon laser, or CO2 laser. Bleeding was controlled by micropinpoint cautery.

[Pelviscopic salpingostomy with everted suture].
Zentralblatt fur Gynakologie, 1995From 1987 to 1990 pelvioscopic distal salpingostomy was performed in 47 patients at the University Hospital of Kiel. The tubal mucosa was everted and fixed with 4/0 PDS sutures. 35 patients (74%) responded to a questionnaire 2-4 years after surgery. A bilateral salpingostomy had been performed in 16 of these 35 cases, while the contralateral tube was ...
