Precipitation of polyelectrolytes by salts
Journal of Polymer Science, 1962AbstractPrecipitation of poly(acrylic acid) by added salts has been investigated under various conditions. The PAA was neutralized to various degrees of ionization α by tetra‐n‐butyl ammonium hydroxide. The minimum salt concentration C̄s at which precipitation occurs was determined at various polymer concentration Cp, temperature T, and α.

Precipitation of surfactant salts
Journal of Colloid and Interface Science, 1988Abstract The effects of two nonionic surfactants (hexaethyleneglycol mono n-dodecyl ether, C12E6, and octaethylegneglycol dodecyl ether, C12E8) on the precipitation of calcium dodecyl sulfate, Ca(DS)2, have been studied as a function of the concentration of all reacting components. The addition of C12E6 and C12E8 greatly enhances the solubility of Ca(

Strengthening aerobic granule by salt precipitation
Bioresource Technology, 2016Structural stability of aerobic granules is generally poor during long-term operation. This study precipitated seven salts inside aerobic granules using supersaturated solutions of (NH4)3PO4, CaCO3, CaSO4, MgCO3, Mg3(PO4)2, Ca3(PO4)2 or SiO2 to enhance their structural stability.

The precipitation of precursor tRNA in high salt
Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications, 1972The tRNA precursor molecules from HeLa cells are 50% precipitable in two molar NaCl, while the mature tRNAs are almost completely (greater than 95%) soluble. This provides a simple and rapid method for the preparation of pre-tRNA molecules relatively free of their mature tRNA products.

Precipitation of Cobalt Salts for Recovery in Leachates
Chemical Engineering & Technology, 2019AbstractMetals such as cobalt are particularly strategic since they are present in many high‐added‐value products. Besides, at the rate of current consumption, specifically of cobalt, the manufacturers are facing risks of shortage for their supply. So, research on these metals' recovery from industrial or urban waste is highly important for the future.
