Arginine-Phosphate Salt Bridges Between Histones and DNA: Intermolecular Actuators that Control Nucleosome Architecture [PDF]
Structural bioinformatics and van der Waals density functional theory are combined to investigate the mechanochemical impact of a major class of histone-DNA interactions, namely the formation of salt bridges between arginine residues in histones and phosphate groups on the DNA backbone.

The Regulation of Trace Metal Elements in Cancer Ferroptosis
The induction of ferroptosis inhibits tumor growth, enhances anticancer efficacy, and overcomes drug resistance. Recent evidence shows nonferrous metal elements play a role in ferroptosis. This review focuses on how trace metals regulate ferroptosis processes like iron accumulation, lipid peroxidation, and antioxidant defense.

Hydrogel‐Based Capacitive Sensor Model for Ammonium Monitoring in Aquaculture
Traditional techniques for monitoring aquaculture water quality, particularly ammonium levels, harm fish. This work presents a novel capacitive sensor with an ionic hydrogel transducer to monitor ammonium concentration in real time based on the ammonium‐induced hydrogel dissociation and osmotic pressure. Monitoring aquaculture water quality, especially

Cytoskeleton and plant salt stress tolerance [PDF]
The plant cytoskeleton is a highly dynamic component of plant cells and mainly based on microtubules (MTs), and actin filaments (AFs). The important functions of dynamic cytoskeletal networks have been indicated for almost every intracellular activity, from cell division to cell movement, cell morphogenesis and cell signal transduction.
