Betulinic Acid Eradicates Implant‐Associated Infections by Disrupting the S. aureus Biofilm Matrix and Potentiating Host Immune Clearance

Betulinic acid reduces infection by Staphylococcus aureus biofilms on implants by inhibiting their formation and adhesion, decreasing EPS and eDNA formation and enhancing immune clearance. Simultaneously, it reduces skin tissue inflammation, enhances type I collagen production, and promotes wound healing.
