Dionychious ground layer spiders from Larix and Populus stands were collected by pitfall traps. The typical pattern of dominant, influent and accessory species was well marked. Populus stands had greater diversity of species than Larix stands.

Spider dietary breadth and overlap increased with imperviousness, suggesting that prey and spiders are concentrating in vacant lots in these landscapes. Climate Change Mitigation in Rice Farming Should Account for Biodiversity
Climate change mitigation and biodiversity loss are closely linked challenges, yet agricultural strategies often address them separately. Focusing on rice farming, this article shows that widely promoted water‐saving practices can reduce greenhouse gas emissions but may also harm freshwater biodiversity that depends on flooded fields.
