Biological Conservation, 1983Abstract All instances of attacks on humans by large saltwater crocodiles Crocodylus porosus over a ten-year period are reported. Despite daily human intrusions into the crocodile's aquatic environment and the presence of extremely large male crocodiles (the usual offenders), only four instances of attack occurred in 10 years.

Reproduction, Fertility and Development, 2017The aim of the present study was to develop a protocol for the successful cryopreservation of Saltwater crocodile spermatozoa. Sperm cells were frozen above liquid nitrogen vapour in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) containing either 0.3 M trehalose, 0.3 M raffinose or 0.3 M sucrose and compared with glycerol (0.3–2.7 M).
