A Systematic Review of Obstetric Mistreatment Among Women Living With HIV

open access: yesNursing &Health Sciences, Volume 28, Issue 2, June 2026.

Constitutive and inducible oleoresin defenses share genetic architectures and mechanisms in Pinus taeda

open access: yesNew Phytologist, Volume 250, Issue 5, Page 2966-2987, June 2026.
Summary The oleoresin defense system of loblolly pine (Pinus taeda) protects trees from insects and pathogens and is an important source of renewable biofuels and chemicals, but the genetic basis of oleoresin production is poorly understood. We characterized the genetic architecture of oleoresin flow, resin canal number, stem wood terpene content, and ...

Basroparib inhibits YAP‐driven cancers by stabilizing angiomotin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, Volume 20, Issue 5, Page 1284-1298, May 2026.
Basroparib, a selective tankyrase inhibitor, suppresses Wnt signaling and attenuates YAP‐driven oncogenic programs by stabilizing angiomotin. It promotes AMOT–YAP complex formation, enforces cytoplasmic YAP sequestration, inhibits YAP/TEAD transcription, and sensitizes YAP‐active cancers, including KRAS‐mutant colorectal cancer, to MEK inhibition.

Activities of daily living and their neural correlates across the Alzheimer's disease continuum: Evidence from a Latin American cohort

open access: yesAlzheimer's &Dementia, Volume 22, Issue 5, May 2026.
Abstract INTRODUCTION Functional decline in activities of daily living (ADL)—advanced (AADL), instrumental (IADL), and basic (BADL)—is a hallmark of Alzheimer's disease (AD). However, integrated clinical–neuroanatomical evidence on progression across the AD continuum remains limited, particularly in Latin American populations.
