Efficient Hole Injection From Indium Tin Oxide in Quantum‐Dot Light‐Emitting Diodes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The realization of QLEDs‐based displays remains challenging due to the acidic surface from PEDOT:PSS. Here, an analysis is conducted by examining the degradation mechanism of PEDOT:PSS. By replacing PEDOT:PSS with 2BrCzPA, the formation of strong dipoles at the ITO/2BrCzPA SAM interfaces exhibits excellent hole injection abilities.

Towards Understanding the Role of Sharpness-Aware Minimization Algorithms for Out-of-Distribution Generalization [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
Recently, sharpness-aware minimization (SAM) has emerged as a promising method to improve generalization by minimizing sharpness, which is known to correlate well with generalization ability. Since the original proposal of SAM, many variants of SAM have been proposed to improve its accuracy and efficiency, but comparisons have mainly been restricted to

Efficient Ambient‐All‐Laser‐Annealed Wide Bandgap Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
First demonstration of ambient laser annealing for both self‐assembly monolayer type hole transport layer and high bandgap (1.80eV) perovskite solar cells. First 3D modeling of macroscopic and localized temperature profiles revealed the advantage of laser annealing for temperature‐sensitive substrates.

Tuning a SAM-Based Model with Multi-Cognitive Visual Adapter to Remote Sensing Instance Segmentation [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
The Segment Anything Model (SAM), a foundational model designed for promptable segmentation tasks, demonstrates exceptional generalization capabilities, making it highly promising for natural scene image segmentation. However, SAM's lack of pretraining on massive remote sensing images and its interactive structure limit its automatic mask prediction ...

Porous Silicon Nanoneedles Efficiently Deliver Adenine Base Editor to Correct a Recurrent Pathogenic COL7A1 Variant in Recessive Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Base editing using nanoneedles efficiently corrects pathogenic variants in the type VII collagen gene of primary fibroblasts from patients with recessive dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa. Nanoneedle editing induces minimal and reversible transcriptional perturbations while restoring the production and secretion of functional type VII collagen.

Thermal Processing Creates Water‐Stable PEDOT:PSS Films for Bioelectronics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 37, Issue 13, April 2, 2025.
Instead of using chemical cross–linkers, it is shown that PEDOT:PSS thin films for bioelectronics become water‐stable after a simple heat treatment. The heat treatment is compatible with a range of rigid and elastomeric substrates and films are stable in vivo for >20 days.

Buried Interface Regulation with a Supramolecular Assembled Template Enables High‐Performance Perovskite Solar Cells for Minimizing the VOC Deficit

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Self‐assembled amphiphilic phosphonate‐based supramolecule functions as a perovskite crystallization‐driven template at SnO2/perovskite buried interface, which induces a highly preferred (100) orientation toward out‐of‐plane direction, facilitates carrier extraction and transfer, passivates the intrinsic defects, and achieves a promising efficiency of ...
