The Sparse Abstract Machine [PDF]
We propose the Sparse Abstract Machine (SAM), an abstract machine model for targeting sparse tensor algebra to reconfigurable and fixed-function spatial dataflow accelerators. SAM defines a streaming dataflow abstraction with sparse primitives that encompass a large space of scheduled tensor algebra expressions.

Promoting Segment Anything Model towards Highly Accurate Dichotomous Image Segmentation [PDF]
The Segment Anything Model (SAM) represents a significant breakthrough into foundation models for computer vision, providing a large-scale image segmentation model. However, despite SAM's zero-shot performance, its segmentation masks lack fine-grained details, particularly in accurately delineating object boundaries.

In Vitro Effect of Neopterin on Splenic Mast Cell Development in Senescence Accelerated Mice (SAM)
Neopterin is produced by monocytes and is a useful biomarker of inflammatory responses. We found that neopterin enhances granulopoiesis, but suppresses B-lymphopoiesis triggered by the positive- and negative regulations of cytokines produced by stromal ...

Segment Anything in High Quality [PDF]
The recent Segment Anything Model (SAM) represents a big leap in scaling up segmentation models, allowing for powerful zero-shot capabilities and flexible prompting. Despite being trained with 1.1 billion masks, SAM's mask prediction quality falls short in many cases, particularly when dealing with objects that have intricate structures.

The Segment Anything Model (SAM) represents a state-of-the-art research advancement in natural image segmentation, achieving impressive results with input prompts such as points and bounding boxes. However, our evaluation and recent research indicate that directly applying the pretrained SAM to medical image segmentation does not yield satisfactory ...

Measuring AMP‐activated protein kinase (AMPK) activity in vitro is crucial for testing AMPK activators or inhibitors with therapeutic potential. Here, we report an enzyme‐linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA)‐based AMPK activity assay with simple steps and high sensitivity, which offers a simple, robust, and cost‐effective alternative to traditional ...

On the Robustness of Segment Anything [PDF]
Segment anything model (SAM) has presented impressive objectness identification capability with the idea of prompt learning and a new collected large-scale dataset. Given a prompt (e.g., points, bounding boxes, or masks) and an input image, SAM is able to generate valid segment masks for all objects indicated by the prompts, presenting high ...

A SAM framework for general equilibrium modeling and economic policy analysis
Social accounting matrix (SAM) is the linkage bridge between economic data and policy analysis in the general equilibrium models. While the empirical SAM is built upon economic data from the system of national accounts, the theoretical SAM is built upon ...
