ATF4‐mediated stress response as a therapeutic vulnerability in chordoma
We screened 5 chordoma cell lines against 100+ inhibitors of epigenetic and metabolic pathways and kinases and identified halofuginone, a tRNA synthetase inhibitor. Mechanistically halofuginone induces an integrated stress response, with eIF2alpha phosphorylation, activation of ATF4 and its target genes CHOP, ASNS, INHBE leading to cell death ...

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

Radiomic clustering using graph network techniques coupled with unbalanced optimal transport
Radiomic data analysis frequently requires identifying major sub-groups within high-dimensional datasets. However, many datasets are limited in size, hindering the effective application of machine learning methods.

Differential Privacy-Preserving Density Peaks Clustering Based on Shared Near Neighbors Similarity
Density peaks clustering is a novel and efficient density-based clustering algorithm. However, the problem of the sensitive information leakage and the associated security risk with the applications of clustering methods is rarely considered.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Adaptive Clustering through Semidefinite Programming
We analyze the clustering problem through a flexible probabilistic model that aims to identify an optimal partition on the sample X 1 , ..., X n. We perform exact clustering with high probability using a convex semidefinite estimator that interprets as a

Large-scale structure in a new deep IRAS galaxy redshift survey [PDF]
We present here the first results from two recently completed, fully sampled redshift surveys comprising 3703 IRAS Faint Source Survey (FSS) galaxies. An unbiased counts-in-cells analysis finds a clustering strength in broad agreement with other recent ...

Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Density Adjusted Spectral Clustering Algorithm Based on Neighborhood Standard Deviation
Objective Clustering involves partitioning given data into multiple classification clusters without requiring knowledge of the true labels. In other words, clustering is an unsupervised learning process that ensures that samples within the same cluster ...
