Influence of shot-peening treatment on wear resistance of medium manganese steel
The effect of shot peening treatment on dry sliding wear behavior of medium manganese steel in as-hot rolled and solution-aging states were studied. The results show that before shot peening, the wear resistance of the solution-aging sample was better ...

A combined experimental–computational framework identifies energy‐dependent laser absorptivity for NiTi in laser powder‐bed fusion, applicable to conduction and transition modes. Single‐track experiments and thermofluid smoothed particle hydrodynamics simulations are coupled through inverse analysis of melt pool geometry.

Long-Run Trends in Internal Migrations in Italy: a Study in Panel Cointegration with Dependent Units [PDF]
The objective of this paper is to examine the long-run determinants of internal migrations from South Italy, and, in order to accomplish this task, to develop a bootstrap test for panel cointegration analysis with dependent units. Monte Carlo simulations

Comparison of Triply Periodic Minimal Surface Energy Absorbers Under Uniaxial Compressive Loading
This study investigates LCD 3D printed Triply Periodic Minimal Surface (TPMS) structures as mechanical energy absorbers. By comparing various base designs and layered combinations under uniaxial compression, it identifies that a Diamond‐Gyroid sandwich structure offers superior performance.

Baysian Flexible Mixture Distribution Modelling of Dichotomous Choice Contingent Valuation with Heterogeneity [PDF]
This paper considers the performance of a model of mixture normal distributions for dichotomous choice contingent valuation data, which allows the researcher to consider unobserved heterogeneity across the sample.

Sol–gel‐derived ZnO–rGO hybrid nanoparticles enable Al7075 powder‐metallurgy composites to achieve concurrent gains in hardness and thermal conductivity while markedly lowering friction and wear. The hybrid architecture couples ZnO‐based load support with rGO‐assisted lamellar sliding and heat spreading, revealing a promising route toward lightweight ...

X‐ray computed tomography reveals how process‐induced defects evolve from green to sintered states in Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF)‐manufactured 17‐4PH stainless steel. Internal porosity, weakest cross‐sections, and fracture locations show strong correlation with tensile performance, demonstrating the potential of computed tomography (CT)‐based ...

On path properties of certain infinitely divisible processes [PDF]
Let {X(t): t [set membership, variant] T} be a stochastic process equal in distribution to {[integral operator]sf(t, s)[Lambda](ds): t [set membership, variant] T}, where [Lambda]is a symmetric independently scattered random measure and f is a suitable ...

Hybrid Metal–Carbon Ink for Printed Stretchable Temperature Sensors
We prepare conductive inks for temperature sensing with silver flakes and carbon or graphite flakes in a silicone elastomer matrix. Silver dominates the temperature‐dependent conductivity, while the carbon filler network ensures the stability of the conductive pathways and retains function under strain.
