High‐Resolution Deep Learning Dixon Magnetic Resonance Imaging of the Sacroiliac Joints Is Noninferior to Standard Magnetic Resonance Imaging in Patients With Suspected Axial Spondyloarthritis

open access: yesArthritis &Rheumatology, EarlyView.
Objective To compare the multisequence standard magnetic resonance imaging (sMRI) protocol of the sacroiliac joints with a single high‐resolution deep learning–reconstructed Dixon sequence (DL‐Dixon) in patients with suspected axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA). Methods Seventy‐six patients with chronic low back pain and suspected axSpA underwent clinical,

Knotless Suture Staple Remplissage for Hill‐Sachs Lesions in the Beach Chair Position

open access: yesArthroscopy Techniques, EarlyView.
Abstract The addition of remplissage to arthroscopic Bankart repair in the presence of a Hill‐Sachs lesion can help decrease recurrence of anterior shoulder instability. The remplissage procedure often involves passage of suture from anchors in the Hill‐Sachs lesion to the extra‐articular side of the shoulder capsule followed by knot tying.

Lateral Extra‐articular Tenodesis Utilizing Modified Ellison Technique With Knotless Anchor Fixation

open access: yesArthroscopy Techniques, EarlyView.
Abstract Lateral extra‐articular tenodesis (LET) to augment anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction significantly reduces graft failure rates. Although there are many techniques for lateral extra‐articular tenodesis, the modified Ellison technique provides numerous advantages as a distally fixed construct, including dynamic rotational stability ...

Medial Meniscus Allograft Transplant: Arthroscopic Soft Tissue Technique With Suture Tape Augmentation

open access: yesArthroscopy Techniques, EarlyView.
Abstract Meniscal allograft transplant (MAT) is gaining popularity for treating meniscus deficiency. Various MAT techniques are described. Bony techniques such as bone plugs and bone slot techniques are considerably more technically challenging but show better reduction of extrusion than all‐soft‐tissue technique.
