This study identifies a critical 4.0°C global warming threshold where flood risk in Lower Yellow River exhibits nonlinear acceleration. Using CMIP6 data from 19 climate models, we demonstrate drought frequency declines by 43.5%–51.8% while flood increases by 232.7%.
