This chapter explores the use of the arts as a means of trespass into the enclosure of rights. Galway-based Blue Teapot Theatre Company used both the play and film Sanctuary as a means of researching and critiquing the closing off of the rights of people with an intellectual disability to an intimate life of their own choosing.
