Column bioleaching of sandstone type uranium ore deposit
Column bioleaching has been performed on sandstone-type uranium ore. The column is initially leached with H2SO4 to make the environment acidic and feasible for Thiobacillus ferroxidase bacteria growth. The column later injected with acid solution containing 6g/L H2SO4, iron source 1.5g/L (Fe3+ 0.75g/L, Fe2+ 0.75g/L) and bacteria.

Large Igneous Provinces (LIPs) and Anoxia Events in “The Boring Billion”
Exploring the links between Large Igneous Provinces and dramatic environmental impact
An emerging consensus suggests that Large Igneous Provinces (LIPs) and Silicic LIPs (SLIPs) are a significant driver of dramatic global environmental and biological changes, including mass extinctions.

Prediction of channel sandbody distribution in the lower section of Sifangtai Formation at the southern end of Chang Placanticline in Songliao Basin [PDF]
The channel sand bodies in the lower section of the Sifangtai Formation in the Songliao Basin are rich in uranium resources. The development of channel sand body distribution prediction is of great significance for guiding the exploration of sandstone ...

Control of tectonic uplift and denudation on uranium mineralization in the eastern Junggar Basin
There is a close dynamic coupling relationship between tectonic and mineralization. Long-term research and observation have found that the formation and location of sandstone-type uranium deposits are obviously controlled by the formation of target layer
