Temporal Trajectories of the Tau Aggregate Interactome Reveal Stage‐Specific Vulnerabilities in Alzheimer's Disease

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Tau populations with different aggregation states associate with distinct sets of proteins in the Alzheimer's disease brain. Proteomic discovery combined with single‐molecule analysis in neurons reveals dynamic associations involving proteostasis, metabolism and RNA biology.

Real‐Time Monitoring of Mass and Mechanical Properties in Single Cells and Multicellular Spheroids

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study introduces photothermally actuated microcantilevers combined with optical microscopy to simultaneously measure morphology, mass, and mechanical properties of cellular systems in real‐time. The findings link cytoplasm‐dominated mechanical energy dissipation to the Q‐factor as a novel biophysical parameter.

Revealing Temperature‐Driven Interfacial Reactions of Succinonitrile in PEO‒LiTFSI Electrolytes and Suppressing Them via Dual PEDOT‐Based Interfacial Layers

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Temperature‐driven interfacial reactions of succinonitrile in PEO‐LiTFSI electrolyte are revealed at both lithium and cathode interfaces, identifying cathode degradation as the dominant failure pathway. Dual PEDOT‐based interfacial protection suppresses these reactions, stabilizes both electrode interfaces, and enables durable wide‐temperature solid ...

Modifying Electrochemical Doping in Light‐Emitting Electrochemical Cells With Gold Nanoparticles

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study shows that gold nanoparticles placed at an electrode can control how electrochemical doping occurs in organic electronic devices. Particularly, in light‐emitting electrochemical cells, by shifting the light‐emitting region, device efficiency is improved without altering the emissive material. This approach provides a simple and effective way

Interfacial Asymmetry and Surface Roughness Enhanced Topological‐Hall‐Like Transport in SRO/BTO/SRO Trilayers

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Trilayer oxide architecture introduces interfacial asymmetry and surface roughness in SRO/BTO/SRO heterostructures, creating a locally modulated polar and magnetic landscape. This design enhances the topological‐Hall‐like response, achieving a broad 5–90 K stability window and a maximum ρTHE of 0.8 µΩ cm, demonstrating an effective route to amplify ...

Low Threshold Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Lasers Based on CsPbI3 Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The first vertical‐cavity surface‐emitting laser (VCSEL) based on CsPbI3 thin films is fabricated by planar hot pressing. By optimizing the cavity design through optical gain assessment and rigorous coupled‐wave analysis, the VCSEL achieved an exceptionally low lasing threshold of 2.8 µJ cm−2.

Exfoliated‐MoS2 Gradual Resistive Switching Devices as Artificial Synapses

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
A vertical memristor based on untreated, exfoliated MoS2 is presented, revealing gradual resistive switching governed by Schottky barrier modulation at the MoS2/metal interface from the trapping/detrapping of charges. Furthermore, the device emulates synaptic‐like plasticity functions, including: potentiation, depression, and spike‐amplitude‐dependent ...
