Flightweight radiantly and actively cooled panel: Thermal and structural performance [PDF]

open access: yes
A 2- by 4-ft flightweight panel was subjected to thermal/structural tests representative of design flight conditions for a Mach 6.7 transport and to off-design conditions simulating flight maneuvers and cooling system failures. The panel utilized Rene 41

Conception of sandwich structural panels comprising thin walled steel fibre reinforced self-compacting concrete (SFRSCC) and fibre reinforced polymer (FRP) connectors [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
In this paper, an innovative thermally efficient sandwich structural panel is proposed for the structural walls of a pre-fabricated modular housing system. Traditionally, sandwich concrete panels consist of conventional reinforced concrete wythes as

Cellulose‐Nanofiber‐Based Layered Sub‐Terahertz Absorbing Sheets for B5G/6G Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
We report a sub‐terahertz absorber made of biodegradable cellulose‐nanofiber (CNF), potentially useful for B5G/6G devices to achieve electromagnetic compatibility in an eco‐friendly way. The absorber is 120 µm thick and consists of two carbon‐nanotube‐dispersed CNF layers and one pure CNF layer.

TADF‐Emitting Dendrimers for Scalable Bar‐Coating Fabrication of Light‐Emitting Electrochemical Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
TADF‐emitting dendrimers promise to enable scalable solution‐based fabrication of efficient electroluminescent devices by the virtue of an attractive set of properties. Here, we report on how light‐emitting electrochemical cells, comprising the TADF‐dendrimer tBuCz2m2pTRZ, can be fabricated by scalable bar‐coating under ambient air and deliver uniform ...
