A Particle Reinforced Gradient Honeycomb Sandwich Panel for Broadband Sound Insulation

open access: yesMathematics, 2023
The sound insulation capacity of traditional sound insulation boards is limited by the law of mass, and any improvement in sound insulation capacity contradicts the demand for light weight.

Glycosylated LGALS3BP is highly secreted by bladder cancer cells and represents a novel urinary disease biomarker

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Urinary LGALS3BP is elevated in bladder cancer patients compared to healthy controls as detected by the 1959 antibody–based ELISA. The antibody shows enhanced reactivity to the high‐mannose glycosylated variant secreted by cancer cells treated with kifunensine (KIF).

3D Energy Absorption Diagram Construction of Paper Honeycomb Sandwich Panel

open access: yesShock and Vibration, 2018
Paper honeycomb sandwich panel is an environment-sensitive material. Its cushioning property is closely related to its structural factors, the temperature and humidity, random shocks, and vibration events in the logistics environment.

Homogenization of corrugated core sandwich panels [PDF]

open access: yesComposite Structures, 2003
The present work is devoted to the computation of the effective properties of corrugated core sandwich panels. Due to their periodic structure, the homogenization theory is used, based on the asymptotic expansion method. At the leading order, an equivalent Kirchhoff-Love homogeneous plate is derived, with an overall behavior obtained from basic cell ...

Colorectal cancer‐derived FGF19 is a metabolically active serum biomarker that exerts enteroendocrine effects on mouse liver

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Meta‐transcriptome analysis identified FGF19 as a peptide enteroendocrine hormone associated with colorectal cancer prognosis. In vivo xenograft models showed release of FGF19 into the blood at levels that correlated with tumor volumes. Tumoral‐FGF19 altered murine liver metabolism through FGFR4, thereby reducing bile acid synthesis and increasing ...

KLK7 overexpression promotes an aggressive phenotype and facilitates peritoneal dissemination in colorectal cancer cells

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
KLK7, a tissue kallikrein‐related peptidase, is elevated in advanced colorectal cancer and associated with shorter survival. High KLK7 levels in ascites correlate with peritoneal metastasis. In mice, KLK7 overexpression increases metastasis. In vitro, KLK7 enhances cancer cell proliferation, migration, adhesion, and spheroid formation, driving ...

Analytical investigation of impact of blunt projectile with different ended into sandwich panels [PDF]

open access: yesمجله مدل سازی در مهندسی, 2015
In this paper, an analytical model has been presented for energy absorption of sandwich panels under ballistic impact. Aluminum-foam and composite-foam sandwich panel are investigated in this paper.

Engineering Deformation and Failure in Diamond Triply Periodic Minimal Surface Lattices via 3D Wall‐Thickness Grading

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
The work demonstrates that strategic wall‐thickness grading in diamond triply periodic minimal surface lattices enables precise tuning of deformation and failure behavior under compression. Different gradation patterns guide how and where the structure collapses, improving energy absorption or promoting controlled brittle failure.
