The Depositional Record, Volume 12, Issue 1, February 2026.Tepee structures on Sheybarah Island form polygonal microbial cemented crusts in the intertidal. Radiocarbon dating suggests they formed in the Holocene and reflect minor sea‐level changes, highlighting their value as palaeoenvironmental indicators. Satellite surveys identified 126 polygonal features, including coral reefs that may have developed on ...Pauline Falkenberg, Sarima Vahrenkamp, Elisa Garuglieri, Alexander Petrovic, Kai Hachmann, Viswasanthi Chandra, Volker C. eJHaem, Volume 7, Issue 1, February 2026.ABSTRACT
Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) is an immune disorder causing excessive inflammation and tissue damage. Lymphoma, especially T‐cell lymphoma, is the most common cause of HLH, while Multiple Myeloma (MM) is rarely associated. We present a 61‐year‐old man with spiking fevers, fatigue, and unintentional weight loss. The HLH was driven by Carla Romagnoli, Alexandra Lyubimova, Leily Santos‐Carrion, Ferial Alloush, Vathany Sriganeshan, Andrea Noboa, Jacqueline C. The Journal of Wildlife Management, Volume 90, Issue 2, February 2026.We investigated low American oystercatcher (Haematopus palliatus) productivity in the Virginia barrier islands, which historically supported high oystercatcher reproductive success. We found that chick survival was lower than nest survival, and that management may need to adapt to address evolving threats from coastal flooding and a multi‐guild ...Mikayla N. Call, Alexandra L.
